I was introduced to the Yellow MG today.  All the Goldens on Shady Side love it, but I am a little scared of it.  It is a car that is used only for the Dogs.  I guess I will learn to love it.

Yesterday, I went outside. I ate a bumble bee, a gerber daisy, then a rock. Mom made me spit out the rock. Maybe next time.

My First Newspaper

I've started retrieving the newspaper daily - it's my job! Ben never liked to, so I'll pick up the slack.

My First Vet Check-up!

"I am a very healthy and good boy." Dr. Art Woodruff (my Vet) says.

Dr. Art comes to my house to check on me and my big brother Ben. I got a shot today - ouch - but I also got 4 cookies from Dr. Art. I weigh 25 lbs at 10 weeks old - I am going to be a big Golden Retriever!

On Saturday, I went for my first swim. It's a Shady Side tradition to go for a dip in the lake on my first day. Andy says these pics look like a southern baptism. I guess he's right. Once we got home, I decided I liked my baby pool much better. We'll work on the lake later.

I'm Home!

After a lengthy 5 hour car ride from Chicago, I finally arrived on Shady Side Friday night! Ashley said I did really well in the car- only two spells of car sickness and one set of hiccups! My big brother Ben is still getting used to me, but he's doing surprisingly well with the situation. We'll be inseparable soon!
